A 1945 dated canteen with a 1940s OD-7 dismounted M-1910 cover
Made by Vollrath, the canteen is a horizontal seam stainless steel type with the last pattern black plastic cap and carbon steel chain. It is in overall very good condition with some minor wear to the body and cap as seen. The chain is quite heavily rusted and has broken from the cap.
The cover has some wear as seen with some fading. The pile lining has been mostly removed, but all other fittings and fixtures are present and working.
