A very rare experimental piece from the early-mid 2000s, these uniforms were trialled in Iraq by striker battalions of the 2nd and 25th Infantry Divisions between 2003-2004 and served as the precursor to the Army Combat Uniform (ACU). They were produced in very limited quantities and are a very interesting collector's item.
This particular top is the earlier 2003 pattern 'CCU' (Close Combat Uniform) with pleated shoulder pockets. We also have the later 2004 pattern 'CU' (Combat Uniform) for sale.
Overall excellent condition with minor wear from use - All zips, fittings and fixtures are present and working. The contract label is present and legible. There is some light sporadic staining as seen.
Labelled size large long, but will fit a UK x-large.
