A very rare experimental piece from the early-mid 2000s, these uniforms were trialled in Iraq by striker battalions of the 2nd and 25th Infantry Divisions between 2003-2004 and served as the precursor to the Army Combat Uniform (ACU). They were produced in very limited quantities and are a very interesting collector's item.
This particular top is the later 2004 pattern 'CU' (Combat Uniform) with single-panel shoulder pockets. We also have the earlier 2003 pattern 'CCU' (Close Combat Uniform) for sale.
Overall very good condition with minor wear from use - All zips, fittings and fixtures are present and working. The contract label is present and legible. There is some light sporadic staining as seen. There are a couple of tiny holes on the front as seen.
Labelled size large long, but will fit a UK x-large.
