Original US Military issue
Circa. 1950s
Part of the M-1951 Extreme Cold Weather system, these trousers were designed to be worn with a pile liner, over combat trousers and in conjunction with the renowned M51 parka.
Made from a lightweight windproof oxford cloth, they feature a zip and snap front closure, drawstring waist and three pockets. The waist-level 'pockets' are actually just flaps that are designed to lead into combat trousers worn underneath.
These are really rather rare and have a very unique super-baggy fit.
New, old stock in mint condition.
