This example retains its original insignia and is attributed to Master Sergeant Prater - A Vietnam Veteran who served with Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (MACV) while in-country. The jacket includes his original 60s name and branch tapes, MSG pin-on collar rank insignia, and SSIs on either shoulder.
The penultimate field jacket. The M65 was designed and began production in 1965 and continued use until the late 2010s. It features a zip & snap front closure, four large pockets, adjustable cuffs and waist, an internal hood, and buttons to fit a removable liner.
Excellent condition with minor signs of wear - All buttons, zips, fittings, and fixtures are present and working. The contract label is present but faded.
Labeled size medium long, but will comfortably fit a UK large.
