Genuine US Government issue

Circa. 1950s

An extremely rare and possibly one-of-a-kind item belonging to a Military-related service that is seldom known. The USCGA is an entirely volunteer component that provides non-military and non-law-enforcement support to the regular USCG. Their duties include search and rescue, disaster relief, recreational boating safety and marine environmental protection. During WW2, auxhillarists were responsible for helping the USCG with recruiting and training.

This jacket features a 100% khaki cotton sateen shell with removable padded nylon liner. There are two front chest pockets, button-adjustable waist and cuffs, and the front closure is secured with a Serval brand Zipper.

In overall excellent condition with very minor wear from use - All buttons, zips, fittings and fixtures are present and working. All labels are present and legible. Recently laundered and pressed.
