Ambridge Thomspon Ltd. has had Canadian Military contracts since the 1970s, notably producing flight jackets and combat uniforms. With a lack of military contract labels, codes etc, this is likely one of their commercially produced products for the civilian market. It also features a zip and button-up front closure and three main pockets.
The jacket's shell appears to be a cotton/nylon blend with a nylon lining and a large synthetic fur collar. Designed for the freezing Canadian weather, it has thick wadding and elasticated knitted cuffs which will hold up to those cold winter months.
In fantastic overall condition with no signs of wear.
