1970 dated plastic canteen with an NBC cap.
The final iteration of the M-1967 cover was adopted in 1973 - The 3rd pattern is identical to the 2nd pattern except for the addition of two vertical lines of stitching across the front and a drainage hole on the bottom. These additional features would carry into the LC-1 generation.
