These signal panels were an essential piece of equipment that was used by LRRP teams, MACVSOG units, Reconnaissance patrols, and other ground-based infantry units to signal helicopters and other low-flying aircraft. One side of the panel is fluorescent orange, and the other is fluorescent red.
This example is in excellent condition with very minor wear. The contract stamp is visible and clear.
