Original US Military issue

An amazing 3rd pattern sateen utility shirt from my personal archive, this shirt was found at a militaria show from a reputable dealer. Named to Proctor, serving with US Army Special Forces.

The 82nd Airborne Division patch on the left shoulder and Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB) above the Jump Wings indicate prior wartime service and active ground combat in Vietnam.

Both the SF and 82nd SSIs are the early 'low-merrowed' edge type worn on uniforms from 1968.

Includes German jump wings - Foreign awards are sometimes found on uniforms belonging to jump qualified servicemembers (often Special Forces) who have trained with foreign forces. For example, it was quite common for SF members serving in Vietnam to wear ARVN jump wings.

100% cotton

In very good condition with minor signs of wear - All buttons, fittings and fixtures are present and working. The contract label is present and legible. Quite faded as seen.
