Genuine US Military issue

A really lovely USAF offering, this M-1947 parka is made from a 100% cotton wind-resistant poplin and features a concealed Conmar brand zip, two large lower pockets, and two upper-hand warming pockets. There are belt loops that accommodate a standard-issue trouser belt which we sell separately. Originally worn by US Air Force ground personnel during the Korean War period. A perfect layering piece with an excellent rugged aesthetic.
Lightly distressed, in very good condition with some signs of real wear and tonnes of character - There are a few sporadic period repairs as seen. All buttons, zips, fittings, and fixtures are present and working. There is some light sporadic staining/discolouration as seen. There are a few small sporadic holes as seen.
