Genuine US Marine Corps Issue
A rare, limited procurement uniform based on the wartime Ike jacket. These were worn by Marines in tropical environments or during summertime in temperate climates.
Circa. late-1940s, these were worn on a limited basis until the mid-1950s.
This example displays originally applied 2nd Lieutenant bars on the epaulettes and a lovely pair of EGAs on the collar.
Made with a soft, 100% cotton twill fabric.
In excellent condition with minor signs fo real wear - All buttons, fittings, and fixtures are present and working. The contract label is present but faded.
