A magnificent grouping of items once belonging to then-Major Lane Rogers, a distinguished commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps. Rogers entered military service during the Korean War era and later served as an advisor to the Vietnamese Marine Corps, completing at least one tour in Vietnam during the early stages of American involvement, from 1964 to 1965. The grouping comprises several pieces of uniform and headwear, assorted paperwork and ephemera, original artwork, photographs, and a large USMC flag. A fine uniform grouping consisting of Petty Officer Third Class Roger L. Weir's US Navy uniform and a sublime USAF Linecrewman jacket, which he wore recreationally. An incredible photograph from his post-service years shows Weir wearing the jacket on his BMW motorcycle.

This seemingly unassuming tigerstripe shirt was previously owned by Maurice Neill Prew, a Florida-born CIA agent, otherwise known by his pseudonym; ‘Roy V. Watlington’. Worn during his service in Vietnam as part of the Revolutionary Development Cadre Program - Plans Division.

This first-pattern Tropical Combat Coat was once worn by Col. Oliver Mayhew Whipple Jr., a USMC commissioned officer who served in Vietnam as the company commander of Fox Co. 2d Battalion, 7th Marines from 1965 to 1970 and later as a Marine Advisor to the Vietnamese Marine Corps until the end of US involvement in 1972
