The penultimate field jacket design. The M65 was designed and began production in 1965 and continued use until the late 2010s. It features a zip and snap front closure, four large pockets, adjustable cuffs and waist, an internal hood and buttons to fit a removable liner.
Original US Military issue
This jacket has been bespoke-tailored to shorten the arms and additional velcro has been added to the collar as seen. The cuff adjustments have been altered slightly which offers an interesting and unique feel to the jacket.
Dated 1971 and features a chrome zip which indicated Vietnam era wartime manufacture.
In overall very good condition with visible wear. All buttons, snaps, zips, fittings and fixtures are present and working. The contract label is present and legible. Sporadic stains as seen.
Recently washed and steamed.
