The penultimate field jacket. The M65 was designed and began production in 1965 and continued use until the late 2010s. It features a zip & snap front closure, four large pockets, adjustable cuffs and waist, an internal hood, and buttons to fit a removable liner.
Original US Military issue
The arms have been shortened and the cuffs have been altered as seen. An additional piece of velcro has been added to the collar.
Dated 1971 and features a chrome zip which indicates Vietnam-era wartime manufacture.
In good condition with signs of real wear as seen - All buttons, snaps, zips, fittings and fixtures are present and working. The contract label is present and legible. Sporadic staining as seen.
