Displays originally applied silk woven gold-on-black US Army branch tape
A rare, very early contract 1st pattern (P58) utility shirt with squared pockets and metal 13-star buttons. Made from a soft, midweight 100% cotton selvedge sateen with a full-length button front closure and two chest pockets.
Excellent condition with very minor signs of real wear - All buttons, fittings and fixtures are present. Minor patina with some very light discolouration/fading as seen.
