Genuine Military issue
Dated 1956
A beautiful smock with a stunning camouflage pattern and tonnes of utilitarian features such as four large pockets, two large internal pockets, zip front closure as well as waist and cuff adjustment options.
The fabric used to make these jackets is incredibly hard-wearing.
Worn primarily by Belgian Airborne, Commando and Marine units throughout the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. The camo pattern is the earlier type known as 'Moon and Balls' and was derived from British Denison smock prints.
Lightly distressed in very good overall condition with signs of real wear - All buttons, fittings and fixtures are present and working. The zip runs well. There is some sporadic discolouration and light staining as seen. There are some small sporadic repairs as seen. There is a small hole on the right cuff as shown.
