A seriously rugged, hard-wearing, utilitarian smock with a stunning camouflage pattern. Features include four large pockets, two large internal pockets, a zip front closure, and beaver tail.
Worn primarily by Belgian Airborne, Commando and Marine units throughout the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. The camo pattern was derived from British Denison prints.
Heavily distressed with signs of real wear. It has incredible character and an amazing fade pattern with authentic patina. All buttons, fittings and fixtures are present and working. The zip runs perfectly. Absolutely covered in repairs, this jacket has been worn through hell and back all the while, cared for and preserved by its original owner. A testament to the incredibly hard-wearing fabric, robust fittings, and hardy construction.
