Genuine French Pompier issue
Circa 1950s
A beautiful full-grain real leather jacket, with a striped wool blanket lining. The arms are lined with a soft cotton fabric. Originally worn by a French officer firefighter, as indicated by the bullion collar ranks. These jackets were standard issue during the 1950s.
Excellent condition - All buttons, fittings, and fixtures are present and working. The leather is strong, supple and, with good care, it will have decades of life left in it.
