Original Military issue
Circa 1950s
Originally designed in 1929 and used throughout WW2, this jacket displays the second iteration of Telo Mimetico, which was introduced in 1950. It boasts large, bold, russet brown and ochre shapes on a muted green background. The camouflage pattern appeared on a number of uniform and equipment items, such as shelter halves and specialised paratrooper jump jackets such as this.
Good condition with signs of real wear - One snap from either breast pocket has pulled away from the fabric, but all other buttons, zips, fittings, and fixtures are present. The contract stamp is present and legible. There is some discolouration and staining as seen. The right shoulder pad has some damage as shown.
