Original Military issue
Circa 1950s
Originally designed in 1929 and used throughout WW2, this jacket displays the second iteration of Telo Mimetico, which was introduced in 1950. It boasts large, bold, russet brown and ochre shapes on a muted green background. The camouflage pattern appeared on a number of uniform and equipment items, such as shelter halves and specialised paratrooper jump jackets such as this.
Excellent condition with signs of real wear - All buttons, snaps, fittings, and fixtures are present. The contract stamp is present and legible. There is some discolouration and staining as seen. Both elbow pads have been professionally removed and resewn, making this a much more comfortable, wearable piece.
