Circa. 1940s-1950s

A lovely second pattern HBT jacket from the late World War 2 era. These jackets were worn by US troops from 1943 until the end of WW2 and throughout the Korean War. This example has been modified for post-war use by shortening the pockets.

Made from a soft selvedge cotton herringbone twill fabric with two chest pockets. This shirt displays original insignia including a 2nd Armored Division patch, Sergeant 1st Class rank chevrons, silk US Army branch tape and a stamped black-on-white name tape.

In excellent overall condition with minor wear from use - All buttons, fittings, and fixtures are present. There are some light stitch marks from the replaced pockets. There are some light sporadic stains and discolouration.
