A beautiful early Vietnamese-made slouch hat with a press-stud brim. Made entirely from salvaged camouflage parachute silk. It features a chinstrap, faux-leather sweatband, and two pot metal eyelets on either side for breathability. Made near or inside Tan-Son-Nhut Airbase in Saigon.
It displays light signs of real wear. Some of the lines of stitching have come away or deteriorated, but this is mostly unnoticeable and does not particularly detract from the overall look or condition of the hat.
