US-made, full-colour, cut edge
Pre-1968: Private First Class (PFC)
1968 onward: Private (Pvt.)
Notably, this type of full-colour, cut-edge rank was worn by early advisors circa. 1961 onward, and regular infantry circa. 1965-1966. They were worn on all uniforms until they were gradually phased out by subdued insignia and pin-on collar rank approx. from 1966 to 1968. Beyond that, they were usually restricted to non-combat uniforms such as Utilities, Class A, and Class B uniforms.
Multiple available - All are uniform-removed in very good, wearable/displayable condition. Some are lightly faded. All have light stitch marks. Most have loose threads from where they have been stitched to and then removed from a uniform but this may be easily unpicked or cut. Sets will be chosen at random, but we will make an effort to match the wear and colour.
These patches were found at a small sewing shop near Ft. Benning, Georgia.
All of our insignia is meticulously researched and comes with our authenticity guarantee.
