Genuine US Military issue
The shirt was manufactured circa early-1950s, but worn during the advisory period of the Vietnam War, circa early-mid-1960s. Worn by Lieutenant Colonel Witt, a MACV Advisor with prior service under the 48th Armored Division. He likely worked alongside Vietnamese armoured personnel.
Made with a beautiful, soft, 100% cotton herringbone twill (HBT)
This shirt displays originally applied insignia, including a silk gold-on-black jacquard woven US Army branch tape, a stamped black-on-white name tape, US-made SSIs and collar insignia.
Excellent condition with light signs of wear - All buttons, fittings and fixtures are present.
