A rare 2nd pattern Tropical Combat Coat. The second evolution of the TCU uniform, these 2nd pattern jackets are identifiable by the double-layered pocket flaps with concealed buttons, waist adjustment tabs and epaulettes.
Made from a lightweight 100% cotton poplin - Non-ripstop
Dated 1966
Very good condition with minor wear - All buttons, fittings and fixtures are present. The contract label is present and legible. There is a large stain on the back of the jacket as seen - there is a small break in the fabric on the lower part of the stain as seen. There is some other light sporadic staining. There is a very small hole above the left cuff as seen.
