The original "Windbreaker", The Illinois-based Danville Co. was the first to coin, trademark and patent the term. In the 1940s, they were awarded contracts to manufacture uniforms for the US Military including M41 field jackets, etc.

This lovely Harrington jacket features a 100% cotton lightweight wind-resistant shell. It has a full-length Talon brand zip with an "E-Z Zip-Tab".

Excellent condition with light signs of real wear - All zips, buttons, fittings and fixtures are present and working. The labels are present and legible. The knitted cuffs, waist and collar are in excellent condition. There are a few very light sporadic spots of wear and a couple of tiny holes, but nothing that particularly affects general form or function. There is a small stain on the back of the right arm as shown.
