Circa. 1960s
A striking tigerstripe pattern known as 'Late War Lightweight Dense (LLD)' with the Johnson nomenclature, otherwise known simply as 'Late War pattern' by some collectors. Introduced in 1969, this pattern was worn by US and ARVN forces until the end of the Vietnam War.
Made from a soft Japanese very lightweight 100% cotton poplin fabric. They feature a button fly, two cargo pockets, and two rear pockets.
In very good condition with some signs of wear - All buttons, fittings, and fixtures are present and working. There is some light discolouration as seen. There is a large repair on the left leg that blends well with the camo pattern and is difficult to notice at first glance. The two buttons on the back right pocket have been replaced. There is a small repair on the crotch as seen.
