Circa. 1960s

Made with a soft 100% cotton selvedge twill fabric.

A beautiful classic tigerstripe pattern known as 'Tadpole Sparse (TDS)' with the Johnson nomenclature, otherwise known as 'Silver' by some collectors. Introduced in 1964, this pattern was worn by US and ARVN forces until the end of the Vietnam War.

Made from an outstanding, soft Japanese midweight 100% cotton selvedge twill. It has bold black shapes and this example has a cool colourway with silvery hues. This shirt is made in an Asian cut with exposed single-button pockets.

Circa. 1960s

Very good condition with some signs of wear - All buttons, fittings, and fixtures are present and working. The label is present and legible. There is a small patch repair using original LLWD fabric on the lower front as seen. The right pocket has hand-repairs as seen. The colours are lightly faded and retain a beautiful light colourway.
