60s Vintage
One of the finest tour jackets I've encountered, one with notably unique embroidery and of top-end quality.
Made by King's Tailor in Korat, Thailand. Korat Air Force Base served as a major frontline hub for bombing runs and attack missions into North Vietnam for U.S. Air Force planes. This jacket was very likely made for an American Airman with the nickname "Yogi".
The jacket is made entirely with a high quality silk fabric, embroidered with typical far-east dragons and a map of Thailand including notable location names. Truly superb.
Appears unworn in near-mint condition with very light wear from stoarge. There are still marks from the tailors chalk around some of the embroidery.
