Practically identical to the US Military counterpart, 'Medical Instrument and Supply Set Case', that was used throughout the Vietnam War by Army medics and Marine Corpsmen. These bags are made from the same treated cotton canvas and have the same fittings as the US-issue bags, but these were made for the Dutch Military as indicated by the NSN (NATO Stock Number) on the top. A number of European countries around this time period either copied or were re-issued genuine USGI equipment for their own use, we speculate these bags are US-made for the Dutch Armed forces.
