A lovely, original USN deck jacket - Genuine US military issue

Probably one of the nicest A-2s that we've ever had in stock. This is an early, mid-60s 1st pattern with a triangular pocket flap. These were used throughout the Vietnam War and this particular example retains its original stenciling on the back. It shows some real wear and has immense character while maintaining a good, wearable condition.
Used throughout the 1960s and into the 1990s, the A-2 is the ideal basic winter warmer with a thick synthetic pile lining and robust cotton shell. A simple design with great styling potential.
In excellent, well-worn condition with lovely character - All buttons, zips fittings and fixtures are present and working. Beautifully faded. No fraying or damage except for the knitted cuffs which show some damage as seen.
