Original US Military issue
100% cotton wind-resistant sateen
Jacket dated 1966 - Liner dated 1956 (FY1966).
A fantastic field jacket with similar design elements to its Army counterpart. Designed and introduced in the late 1950s, this was the Air Force's answer to the latest generation of outerwear for the field. It has a simple yet utilitarian design with features such as a stow-away hood inside a large collar, button front closure, four large pockets, button-adjustable cuffs, and a drawstring waist. A short-lived and highly underrated alternative to better-known military jackets of the same era. Ideal for chillier months.
