Original US Military issue
100% cotton wind-resistant sateen
Dated 1966 (FY1967)
A fantastic field jacket with similar design elements to its Army counterpart. This was the Air Force's response to the latest generation of outerwear for the field. It has a simple yet utilitarian design with features such as a stow-away hood inside a large collar, button front closure, four large pockets, button-adjustable cuffs, and a drawstring waist. A short-lived and highly underrated alternative to better-known military jackets. Ideal for chillier months.
Displays originally applied reflective strips, this jacket was likely worn by a Flightline member.
Excellent condition with very light wear - All buttons, fittings and fixtures are present. The contract label is present and legible.
