A commercially produced boonie hat, made with genuine surplus NLABS-2 (RDF ERDL) ripstop poplin fabric.
These hats were sometimes purchased by active serving US Military personnel in the post-Vietnam period circa 1970s/80s.
The original owner has cut the brim down and left a raw edge.
