Displays originally applied insignia to include a Medical Command Patch and Airborne tab on the left shoulder, nylon US Army branch tape and name tape, Basic Jump Wings, Major rank and Medical branch collar insignia. This jacket was worn in the 1970s/1980s, likely by a medic attached to the 82nd Airborne who extensively wore Jungle Jackets in the period. Modified with velcro under the pockets
100% cotton ripstop poplin
A 3rd pattern Tropical Combat Coat with a back yoke and straight cuffs.
Excellent condition with light signs of real wear and a superb fade pattern - All buttons, fittings and fixtures are present. The contract label is present and legible. There is some light sporadic staining & discolouration as seen.
