Made with original wartime-produced ARVN BDQ fabric, this hat was likely assembled in the post-war period by a Vietnamese tailor using recycled fabric. The construction is also practically identical to hats made during the war.
The maker has stamped the inside of the crown with a fake contract stamp.
Constructed with nylon thread. Note the uneven and inconsistent spots of wear, which indicate this hat was likely made with scraps of fabric, salvaged from old wartime uniforms.
