These striking tigerstripe trousers aren't anything related to the Vietnam War but can be considered just about as rare. Due to the success of tigerstripe patterns in the tropics of Southeast Asia, Ecuador adopted a handful of different home-grown tigerstripe patterns for its military. For Ecuador's lush verdant environments, similar to those of the Indochina peninsula, an already proven camouflage was a logical choice.
Several Ecuadorian tiger patterns were issued throughout the 1970s-1990s most of which have vibrant red or orange hues. This example has crisp, defined shapes with a bright, saturated colourway and orange highlights.
