This shirt is attributed to career Army pilot Robert 'Bob' T. Brafford. Brafford served multiple tours in Vietnam between 1964-1968.  It was found in a larger grouping of items that all belonged to the retired Major. Units he served with include the 145th Airlift Platoon (1964-1968), 11th Combat Aviation Group (1967-1968), and 242nd Assault Helicopter Support Company (1968). His personal callsigns were 'Mardi Gras' while serving with the 145 Airlift Plat. and 'Muleskinner 5' while serving with the 242nd AHSC.

Brafford was awarded the US Army Distinguished Flying Cross twice during his tours in Vietnam, descriptions of which can be seen in the last image.

Included with this shirt will be a short physical copy of a document that details Brafford's military service.

The shirt displays originally-applied insignia including 1st Cavalry Division SSI and Vietnamese-made tapes.
