An extremely rare camouflage pattern issued to a youth paramilitary group known as SVAZARM circa 1950s. Based on the German WW2 Splittertarnmuster (Splinter pattern) with brighter, more saturated colours. During WW2, Czechoslovakia was under German occupation and manufactured uniforms (amongst other personal equipment, vehicles, etc.) for the German army, including camouflage. It's believed that after the war, whilst under the USSR, the factories that originally made these fabrics and uniforms continued manufacturing for their own military whilst using the same machines, print rollers, etc. The Czechs also made post-war copies of German sumpfmuster (marsh camo) and Leibermuster.

Uniforms were never standardised in this pattern, and every item of clothing made with this cloth is tailor-made in various styles.

Excellent condition with signs of real wear - All buttons, snaps, fittings, and fixtures are present.
