Genuine US Military issue
The renowned ALICE pack was introduced in the mid-1970s, these began to be issued shortly after the Vietnam War ended and were used through the latter 20th century and a while into the 21st century as they were being phased out of service. A really superb rucksack with a metal frame which provides excellent back support and comfort for long expeditions. It features one large main compartment and three large pockets on the exterior. There is a waterproof map pocket inside the main flap and a toggle-secured drawstring main closure underneath.
In overall excellent condition. A solid, ready-go pack, ideal for hiking, backpacking, camping, reenacting or display.
