Developed in the 1960s and worn throughout the Falklands conflict by Royal Navy deck crewmen. A highly sought-after smock made with a superb high-performance, tight weave, wind and water-resistant 100% cotton ventile fabric. Fully lined, it has several adjustment options and a uniquely English design. An oversized and baggy fit, ideal for autumn and winter layering. This example displays a beautiful patina and wear pattern.
Excellent condition with light signs of real wear - All fittings & fixtures are present and working. The contract label is present and legible. There are two professionally made repairs on the hood as shown. There is a very small break in the fabric on the bill. Very nicely worn-in.
