Genuine Czech Army issue
Dated 1963
100% midweight cotton sateen
A beautiful, early example made in the very first year of production. This stunning camouflage pattern slowly lost its 'water-stain' underprint as production continued until the 1980s. A very interesting feature of this camo is that under infrared imaging, the underprint shows through over the 'rain' elements and looks like an entirely different pattern. Official nomenclature: jehlicí (needles) or oblaky (clouds)
The parka features two waist-level pockets, a rear pocket, an internal pocket, a button-up main front closure, and internal button slots to attach a liner.
Excellent condition with minor signs of wear - All buttons, fittings, and fixtures are present and working. The contract stamp is present and legible. There are a few sporadic small holes as seen.
