Original Vietnamese-made patch circa. 1960s.
The 34th Platoon was with the 3rd Brigade, 1st Air Calvary from 1966 through to 1972. I have more information, photographs and videos about the unit available to any serious buyers - please inquire. The last photo shows a member of the 34th wearing a similar (possibly the same) scroll over his 1st Cav. Div. insignia.
Uniform-removed - This patch has been used and shows some signs of wear and stitch marks.
This patch is hand-embroidered, subdued on twill with a cut (raw) edge and cheesecloth like backing
