Original Military issue circa. 1960s
An absolutely spectacular, and one of the most desirable tigerstripe patterns with bold, contrasting gold colours. In some areas, the black shapes have slightly faded to that iconic purple hue that appears when the natural dyes are exposed to light. This only occurs with the types of dyes that were used during the period. The pattern is known as Advisor Sparse (ADS) Gold and is printed on a 100% midweight cotton fabric in an 'ARVN' cut with covered pocket flaps. These shirts saw prolific use by both American and native forces toward the end of the Vietnam War, predominantly by Special Forces and other special personnel.
Overall Excellent condition with minor signs of wear - All buttons, fittings, and fixtures are present and working. Strong colours with some minor fading in spots as seen.
