Original Vietnam War era patch made in Asia circa. 1960s

'Liberty cuff' patches are still worn today by Navy sailors on the inside of either cuff and can only be seen when the cuffs are rolled up, which the sailor would only do when he was on 'liberty' (shore leave). They were often personalized items and consisted of various embroidered designs including mermaids, dragons, birds, flags and other symbols. A tradition dating back to the 1900s.
Uniform-removed - This patch has been used and shows some signs of wear and stitch marks.
