Original Vietnam War era patch made in the US circa. 1960s
During the war, the 198th LIB was a part of the 23rd Infantry Division 'Americal'. The distinctive insignia was worn as a pocket patch with the 23rd patch on the shoulder.
Uniform-removed - This patch has been used and shows some signs of wear and stitch marks.
This is a subdued, on twill patch with a cut (raw) edge.
