Original US-made, ARVN issue

These packs were contracted by the DoD and manufactured in the States for issue to RVN forces during the Vietnam War. It features one large main compartment with two additional pockets on the front. It is made entirely from a soft cotton material with heavy webbing straps and metal fittings. Lightweight, durable and comfortable. There is evidence of US forces using this rucksack during the war, notably US Marines, however, their use was limited mostly to South Vietnamese troops.
Overall very good condition with minor wear as seen. A couple of small holes and some minor staining on the back which won't be seen when worn. All fittings, fixtures and straps are present and working. Missing frame.
