A stunning, simplistic example of the ubiquitous poncho liner tour jacket. These were among the quintessential must-have souvenirs for servicemen serving in South East Asia and were often made with recycled ERDL poncho liners as well as other Vietnamese and South-East Asian components.

Made by the famous Luong Phan tailor shop in Saigon who made a huge array of souvenirs, insignia, and apparel catered specifically for the presence of US Military personnel serving in Vietnam. Any item branded with the LP label makes for a particularly desirable piece.

Circa. 1960s

In excellent condition with minor wear from use - All zips, buttons, fittings an fixtures are present and working. The LP shop label remains under the collar. There is a repair under the right arm as seen, but this is hardly noticeable when worn.
