Circa. 1960s
A very rare shirt, made with a lightweight 100% cotton selvedge poplin fabric, printed with the second pattern ARVN ERDL pattern. These shirts were often worn by ARVN Rangers (BDQ), as well as US advisors, LRRPs, SEALs, Special Forces, and other specialised units. These uniforms are significantly rarer than the more common, heavier twill ARVN ERDL uniforms that preceded them.
The first period photograph shows a SEAL team wearing a huge variety of camouflage patterns. The second is an Army LRRP.
Excellent condition with light signs of wear - All buttons, fittings and fixtures are present and working. The contract stamp under the collar is present but mostly faded. There are some very small, sporadic holes as shown.
