Circa Vietnam War - 1960s

A lovely example of the ubiquitous poncho liner tour jacket. These were among the quintessential must-have souvenirs for servicemen serving in South East Asia.

Made by the Hoa-Hung tailor shop in Phu-Cat Airbase who made an array of souvenirs, insignia, and apparel catered specifically for the presence of US Military personnel serving in the area.

What is really quite special about this jacket is that it displays the original 1967 dated US Military contract label from the poncho liner that this jacket was made with right under the collar. It is also very rare to find these jackets in any size larger than a medium - XLs are nearly unheard of.

New, old stock in mint condition - Never worn.
